Music has changed a lot through time adapting to new technology and adapting to the people who listen to music. Genres have changed, Artists have changed and just the way music is produced has changed.
I want to talk about my personal favorite artist, Jared Anthony Higgins, otherwise known as Juice WRLD. He is a well known rapper who grew up in Chicago and started music when he was very young. He started his career in 2015 under the name JuicetheKidd, then in 2017 he signed with Grade A record label, and he changed his name to Juice WRLD. His first album came out in may 2018 Goodbye and GoodRidance. That album was a hit and put Juice Wrld on the map. His 2nd album was a collab album with the rapper known as Future, came out in October 2018 WRLD on Drugs. His 3rd album came out in march 2019 Death Race for Love. Then on December 8th 2019 Juice WRLD died from a drug overdose at an airport.
After his death more and more people were aware of Rapper Juice WRLD. At this point he already had another 3 albums made but he died before he could release them. So Grade A record label released his 4th album Legends Never Die, then his 5th album Fighting Demons. There is another album that is supposed to get released but hasn’t yet called The Party Never Ends. Even though he only has 5 released albums at the moment he has over thousands of songs that are unreleased and have been leaked. My personal favorite song being “I’m Still.” Music carries on forever so even though the artist may of died the music will still be carried on throughout years.
