Overall, I think rugby is a great sport and is under-appreciated here in the United States. However, I also understand that professional football dominates the sport industry in the US and it is very difficult to implement professional rugby into that industry.
I played rugby during my Junior and Senior years at high school and thought it was a fun sport that I didn’t need to take too seriously and could just be fun.

Most people tend to believe the sport is much more violent and aggressive than sports like football or soccer and don’t want to try the sport. I think if people actually tried to play or even watch they may enjoy it more than they realize!
