I have always been surrounded by football, my grandfather on my moms side was played little league football with Mike Ditka a Hall of Fame inductee, In 1988, his blocking and 427 career receptions for 5,812 yards and 43 touchdowns earned him the honor of being the first tight end inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Ditka also scored two touchdowns on offensive fumble recoveries, tying seven other players for the most in NFL history.

Despite from my grandfather all of my uncles and cousins played college football, from notable schools like Penn State, JMU, Stevenson and Wofford. I had to go the sports route. As a kid I played football, baseball and wrestling. I enjoyed all of them but football stood out at me. Like I was meant to be apart of a culture or a brotherhood.
