On offensive, your team will have handlers who will throw the disc most during the point and cutters who will mostly catch the disc during the point. There is a main handler and a second handler who is on the break side of the field for the dump from main handler should the stall count get too high. There can even be a third handler if the defense is set up in a zone. Though in most cases, teams will set up in man to man defense so offensives commonly used what is called a “Stack”.
The Stack Formation on Paper

There are two handlers in the back of field towards the offensive endzone. The main handler in this picture (red player with dot), is in the middle of the field while the second handler is on the break side which is the bottom sideline in this instance. Meanwhile, there are 5 cutters set up in a loose line, aka the stack, starting from around 10 to 20 yards from the handlers.
The person closest to handlers in the stack, who is not numbered is called the setter. They are person that sets up the stack so the rest of the cutters know where to go after they are done cutting and need to get out of the other cutters way. This person does not cut into same spaces as the other four typically but instead will cut towards the second handler when they receive the dump throw. This is called swinging the disc as you are swinging it from one sideline of the field to the other to create a lot of open space on the other sideline.
The four numbered cutters have two options in this picture, depending on how their defender is guarding them. They can either cut towards the handler and have all the open space nearest to handler or they can cut away from the handler going towards the blue team’s endzone. After the player receives the frisbee, the stack setter will move the stack up past the player who caught it to ensure cuts go closer to defending team’s endzone. If the cutter did not receive the frisbee or if the cutter has just throw the frisbee, they get back into the stack behind the stack setter and repeat the cut when it is their turn again.
