“Attack on Titan” is a Japanese manga and anime series created by Hajime Isayama. The story is set in a world where humanity is on the brink of extinction due to giant naked creatures known as Titans, who devour humans without reason. The rest of humanity resides within enormous walled cities to protect themselves from the Titans. The protagonists of the story are Eren Yeager and his friends Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert. They witness the destruction of their hometown by Titans as one is able to breach through the wall. This casualty sparks a desire within Eren to eradicate the Titans and explore the outside world. As they join the military to fight against the Titans, they uncover dark secrets about the origin of the Titans, the true nature of their world, and the mysteries surrounding the walls. The reason that this anime is one of my favorites is because it has an amazing story. Without any spoilers, I can definitely say that it has put me through many rollercoasters and the anime is full of many plot twists that will have you raising your eyebrow. The anime is full of foreshadowing and it is important that you pay attention while you watch, or you may miss something very important.
