Impact

Ultimate Frisbee has had a huge impact on players around the world and new athletes to the sport.  The majority of ultimate players start in college, which is great for those who have never played a sport before or are looking to try a new one.  This creates a culture that really encourages and helps new players because they are surround by many in the same boat as them.

In addition to this, Ultimate is a very inclusive sport that is extremely diverse.  It prides itself on being a LGBTQ+ friendly sport, never discriminating or turning someone away based on their gender identity or sexual orientation.

On top of this, Ultimate is a sport that is played globally.  It bridges cultures and holds competitions that include many countries.  It also includes a mixed division of players of any gender that all compete on the same team at the same level.  Ultimate also has a masters division for people over the age for 40.
