Prior to Sunday’s game, the Commanders presented a statue of former All-Pro safety Sean Taylor to celebrate and remember the late legend’s life on the 15th anniversary of his passing. The actual statue’s unveiling, though, could have been better. Taylor was shot and died in an attempted robbery at his Florida home in November 2007; his monument was unveiled prior to Washington’s game versus the Falcons at FedEx Field. When the curtain was drawn back, the glass-encased representation of Taylor looked much more like a mannequin than a statue.
