My connection to South Africa
One fun fact about me is that I have a dual citizenship to South Africa and the U.S. My parents were both born in South Africa. My mom is 2nd generation south african from Johannesburg and my dad is 5th generation south african from Durban. This also means that I was the first generation in my family to be born in the states! I have been able to visit South Africa 4 times in my life and I can’t wait to go back and visit soon! My mom’s side of the family still lives over there so she goes back to visit more often!
