Here are five delightful dishes from Nepal (My Personal Favorites!)

1. Dal Bhat: This consists of lentil soup (dal) paired with steamed rice (bhat), served with things such as vegetables, pickles, and chutneys.

2. Momos: Momos are savory dumplings that have become a beloved street food in Nepal. These dumplings are filled with a mixture of minced meat or vegetables, seasoned with herbs and spices, and then either steamed or fried to perfection.

3. Thukpa: Thukpa is a comforting noodle soup that originates from the Tibetan community in Nepal. This dish features hand-pulled noodles cooked in a flavorful broth with vegetables and your choice of meat.

4. Sel Roti: Sel Roti is a traditional Nepalese snack enjoyed during festivals and special occasions. These sweet and crispy deep-fried bread are made from a batter of rice flour, sugar, and yogurt.

5. Gundruk: Gundruk is a traditional fermented leafy green vegetable that holds a special place in Nepalese food. Made by fermenting leafy greens such as mustard greens or spinach, Gundruk adds a tangy flavor to soups, stews, and pickles.
