Needles/Ink Used for Tattooing
Each needle is determined by the artist and by how the client wants their tattoo. The color varies depending on the client as well. Pain is different for each spot on the body, type of tattoo, type of needle, and how much ink the skin is receiving. Some types of needles include:
- Round Liner
- Flat Needles
- Round Shader
Then there is different sizes of each needle that is used depending on the thickness of the lines. When it comes to shadowing the artist tends to use a needle with multiple little needles which tends to hurt more than the outline. Color varies depending on what the client is looking for. Artists can usually use any color that the client is wanting. Tattoos that need more needles or color tends to be more painful.
