The year after the Ravens won the Super Bowl, was not too kind to them. The Ravens had almost 20 player go on the Injured Reserved list. The Ravens were hit with the injury bug, and their season was derailed. The starting QB for the Ravens, Joe Flacco who had never missed a game in his career, tore his ACL, and MCL. They went a franchise worst 5-11. It was a miserable and derailing season, however all the players who were injured were able to return next season in full health, and the Ravens would receive a top draft pick. The future looked bright… but it was very hard to look past this season.
