Towson University is a public research university located in Towson, Maryland, a suburb of Baltimore. Founded in 1866 as a teacher’s college, the university has since grown into a comprehensive institution with over 23,000 undergraduate and graduate students across multiple campuses. Towson University offers over 100 bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree programs in a wide range of fields, including business, education, health sciences, arts and humanities, science and technology, and social sciences. The university is known for its strong programs in education, nursing, business, and psychology, among others. Towson University has a diverse student body, with students from all 50 states and more than 80 countries.
