GENERAL INFO:
The Towson Tigers are a part of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) joining in 2001-02 season. Towson moved their athletics programs to Division 1 in 1979 except for football which still operates as FCS which is a subdivision of DI sports.
MEN’S BASKETBALL:
- Current Head Coach: Pat Skerry.
- Is currently 8-1 and is ranked #8 in the Mid-Major Poll.
- Won the CAA Regular season title in the 2021-22 season.
- Played in the National Invitational Tournament (NIT) last year after not making it into the NCAA March Madness tournament.
LACROSSE:
- Current Head Coach: Shawn Nadelen.
- Has won 8 CAA Titles.
- They’ve also made 21 NCAA Tournament Appearances.
- Ranked #1 in the Lacrosse AP Poll during the 2019 season.
