Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter
- 2 teaspoons of minced garlic 2 cups of cooked, shredded chicken
- 1/2 cup of Frank’s Original Red Hot sauce
- 8 oz. block cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup of sour cream
- 1/2 cup of white cheddar cheese, freshly shredded
- 1/4 cup of American cheese, freshly shredded
- 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)
- 2 teaspoons of green onions (or chives)
- celery sticks, carrot sticks, tortilla chips, or any kind of cracker to scoop, for serving
Cooking Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees (190 degrees C) and place in the middle
- In an 8 inch iron skillet or pan, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Then, Saute Garlic until fragrant.
- Add chicken and hot sauce and simmer until the hot sauce has thickened and reduced by half.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in the cream cheese, mix until combined.
- Take off heat, stir through the cream cheese and top with both cheddar cheese’s over top.
- Bake until bubbling around the edges and the cheese has melted (usually about 10 minutes). Broil or grill for an additional minute to get the golden brown top.
- Immediately garnish with blue cheese and green onions, and then it is ready to serve!
