Unique Tourist Attractions

Brooklyn Bridge Park Basketball Courts: If you enjoy playing pick-up basketball then these are the courts for you. There are 5 separate courts that are right along the water and there is an amazing view of the Lower Manhattan Skyline. These are some of the coolest courts I have  ever played on

Chelsea Market/Artechouse: Chelsea Market is light a mall for food. There are probably over two dozen different food vendors/restaurants/stores within the market itself with a wide variety of food ranging from home-made gelato to Greek cuisine to imported goods from Italy. While some of these places to dine and eat can be a bit pricy, it is certainly worth it. Artechouse has three locations, one of them being in NYC. It is an everchanging modern museum that uses a lot of highly modified projectors to fill the room with crazy colors and unique designs.

Pier 35: One of my favorite spots in the city. Located almost directly under the Manhattan Bridge, Pier 35 gives a breathtaking view of the Brooklyn Bridge and both the Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan Skylines. There are three floating swings that are directly adjacent to the water. I highly recommend planning to come to this unique spot around sunset.
