Sith: The Sith are an ancient group of force wielders known to use the dark side of the force. They follow a rule of two, meaning there can only ever be one master and one apprentice in the whole galaxy. During the Clone Wars, Darth Sidious, aka Chancellor Palpatine was the master. His first apprentice was Darth Maul, a warrior from the Plant Dathomir. After Maul was supposedly killed at the hands of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Palpatine undertook the fallen Jedi Count Dooku as his new apprentice.
Separatist Leadership: The separatist army was led by a cyborg by the name of General Grievous. He was once a great hunter but due to a terrible fight with a Jedi, he had to be put into the body of a robot to survive. That fueled a newfound hatred for the Jedi in him, and he began to collect and wield the lightsabers of Jedi he slaughtered. The other main leader of the Separatists was Count Dooku. Dooku was a fallen Jedi who had been the apprentice to Grandmaster Yoda. Contrary to Palpatine and Grievous, Dooku fought for the Separatists for his own political ideals, not to destroy the Jedi.
Droid Army: The droid army was manufactured by the Separatists so they could have a low maintenance army. There is nothing too special about the Droid army, there were multiple kinds of droids though. There were battle droids, super battle droids, droidekas, and commando droids.
