Modern Volvo’s
After being purchased by Ford in 1999, Ford sold Volvo to a holding company by the name of Geely in 2010. Geely brought on another new era for the brand full of electrification and sustainability while maintaining its safety and quality design. Modern Volvo’s are sleek and worthy competitors to other modern luxury brands more than they ever have been in the past.

New Volvo design incorporates Scandinavian luxury with modern design. You find this in the signature thors hammer headlights. New vehicles have advanced safety and technology features that can semi-autonomously drive and auto brake in the event of a collision. Though the model names remain largely the same as before, there are some new entrants to the lineup such as the XC40, V60, and V90.
In 2021, Volvo released its first all-electric vehicle, the XC40 Recharge, and continues to reveal new electric models including the new C40. The electric models are exhilarating and fun. Yet again, still offering contemporary Swedish design and safety.
