The Future of Volvo

The future of Volvo is electric, they are very firm about that. Volvo plans on selling over 50% all-electric vehicles by 2025 with the rest being some form of hybrid. They also promise to be 100% climate-neutral by 2040 or in other words not harming the environment at all. As mentioned prior their current goals are primarily electrification and sustainability.

As of currently, they have hybrid variants in almost all of their vehicles sold here in the US with new electric models debuting fast. With many other brands offering insight into similar futures, it is certain Volvo is here to stay as a strong competitor in the luxury market.

Many, will miss the spirit of the Volvos of ages past. However, having driven all of the new models, I can say that the future is bright. Their electric models are exhilarating and fun and the build quality is top-notch. Above all, it is certain, now, and in the future, you’ll never find a safer vehicle than a Volvo.
