1.Helmet-

- One of the most important football equipment as it protects the most important part of the body the head preventing it from injury
- A helmet is created to protect against balls flying at it and also the force coming at the player from other players
2. Jockstrap and cup-

- The job of a jockstrap is to protect against the groin of the male human body, which receives the most impact during a hit
- The cap is to protect the sensitive area of the male human body protecting it from severe impact hits
3. Mouth guard-

- Protects the mouth and teeth from impact during a football game
- A teeth or jaw can be damaged when not protected and hit hard
- A mouth guard needs to be fitted well with the individuals mouth or else it will not work
4. Thigh, hip and knee pads-

- Protects the knee and arms which are joints that aren’t naturally made to endure the impact of certain hits on the football field
5. Shoulder pads-
- No players’ shoulders are strong enough to withstand the impact, but with the help of the shoulder pads it reduces the chance of injury
- A player with shoulder pads also reduces the chance of torn ligaments or muscle strain in the shoulders
6. Gloves-

- This keeps players hands protected from injury and also gives you an advantage of catching the ball when going against someone who isn’t wearing any
- Gloves not only helps protects the hand and catches the ball better, but it also reduces the hands from getting a bruise or scratch
7. Neck collars/neck roll-
- Usually used for positions of linebackers and defensive linemen where it protects their neck and shoulders from rough contact
- It can also change the comfort and soreness between games
8. Cleats-

- These are probably one of the best things you can wear during a game as without it you have no traction at all
- The soles of the cleats provides a player with the upmost traction when playing on the field
