Juan Jose Soto Pacheco was born on October 25, 1998, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to Juan Soto Sr. and Belkis Pacheco. Soto father was the one was encouraged him to make baseball a passion, as the elder Soto was a catcher in a local men’s league. On July 2015, Soto signed an international free agent for the Washington Nationals and made his minor league debut in 2016.
