Long Island Aquatic Club is recognized as one of the most elite competitive swim programs in the nation. They have consistently been the top performing New York City Metropolitan Area swim club for the past 20 years. Since 1979, Long Island Swimming has provided a competitive swimming experience for thousands of children throughout Nassau County and Long Island. Long Island Aquatic Club is consistently one of the top 20 teams in USA Swimming’s Virtual Club Championships. The teams have won Junior National, Sectional, Senior Metropolitan, and Junior Olympic titles.
Liac was one of the most difficult yet rewarding years of my life as I learned how to put in hard work while finding some of my closest friends. The best part was being able to watch my team succeed and see how all of us ended up right where we should be.
It was also at LIAC where I was offered a job as a coach for a younger group and was able to watch them develop as swimmers themselves. It was an extremely full circle moment being able to coach kids who were in the same position I was where they were trying to find what suited them best in the sport and find what they enjoyed doing.
