I first found in interest in horseback riding in middle school, when a friend convinced me to attend a horseback riding summer camp with her. Prior to this I did not have any particular hobbies that I enjoy, so I was surprised to find myself enjoying it so much. After the camp ended, I enrolled in lessons and was able to ride once a week. This continued for several years, and once I was admitted to Towson University as a freshman, I made sure to join their equestrian team. I spent all four years on the team, taking lessons once a week, showing in competitions and riding at other barns and I could not be happier.
