Ingredients List
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup tightly packed dark brown sugar
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup butterscotch chips
Cooking Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly butter and flour an 8×8-inch pan
- Whisk together the melted butter and sugar in a bowl. Add the vanilla extract and whisk to combine
- Add the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt and mix it all together. Add the butterscotch chips
- Pour into the pan and spread evenly. Bake for 18 to 25 minutes or until a tester inserted into the center comes out clean
- Allow to cool. Cut into squares or rectangles and serve
