Classic Blondies Recipe

Fresh blondies!

Ingredients List

  • 1/2 cup  butter, melted
  • 1 cup tightly packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup butterscotch chips

 

Cooking Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly butter and flour an 8×8-inch pan
  2. Whisk together the melted butter and sugar in a bowl. Add the vanilla extract and whisk to combine
  3. Add the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt and mix it all together.  Add the butterscotch chips
  4. Pour into the pan and spread evenly. Bake for 18 to 25 minutes or until a tester inserted into the center comes out clean
  5. Allow to cool. Cut into squares or rectangles and serve
