Where It All Began
I began working in a shop called Jersey Cuts at just 14 years old, sweeping up hair. Eventually, there was a need for another barber which is when I stepped in to fill the role. Along with picking up haircutting, I picked up Spanish because the guys that I worked with, and many customers, primarily spoke it. It has been a valuable asset in my career. I’ve seen many barbers come and go, but I have been there for 5 years now. I have been able to gain loyal, satisfied customers since then. I also would hook my boys up from school when they needed a fresh cut. I gave them cuts out of my basement for a discounted price, to make a little extra money on the side during quarantine.
