PG County is also one of the richest African American Communities in the country. Some of the enterprises located in our county include:

Joint Base Andrews, the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, the FDA, NOAA, the USDA Beltsville Agricultural Research Center, and the headquarters of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, which is now under construction.

The state’s premier public university, the University of Maryland College Park, as well as other significant institutions are included in the list of academic facilities. The county’s recent relocation and expansion of the nation’s top quantum computing company (IonQ) and the federal government’s decision to relocate two additional agencies to the county both demonstrate the county’s commitment to corporate growth.
