For decades, Prince George’s County has carried the unique distinction of the country’s wealthiest majority Black county, but data now shows that title belongs to neighboring Charles County.

We can also improve communities that are closer to Washington DC. A strength of PG County is cities like Upper Marbolo, Woodmore, and Bowie that have suburbanized themselves. Our goal should be to target communities like Capital Heights, Cheverly, and Palmer Park.
