Ethiopians has the most welcoming and friendly people on Earth! It brings them so much joy when people from all around the world come and experience the culture. I have some tips when you travel to Ethiopia for the first time.

1. While panning your trip keep in mind that Ethiopia has its own calendar(Gregorian calendar, Currently its 2016 in Ethiopia) and also letters.
2. Make sure you have mosquito repellent with you anywhere you travel
3. Make sure you let your doctor know that you are traveling and ask for malaria prescriptions
4. Don’t carry your valuable stuff out especially in the crowds(Pickpocket incident)
5. Get a personal tour guide, its pretty affordable
6. If you visit the churches, make sure you dress modest
7. Beware of your allergies and make sure you let people around you at all times
