Summary of the game: Bowser fused himself with Prince Florian’s Castle of the Petal Kingdom using the Wonder Flower, which has the ability to bring wonderous effects to the world.
What I liked about this game
1.) It was cool to see a more creative side to a Mario platformer game. I liked the idea of Nintendo experimenting with new approaches to Mario games. Things like adding new power ups or game mechanics is always something cool to try and something to look forward too.
2.) I was really impressed with Kevin Afghani and his voice of Mario and Luigi. I think that he was really great at making Mario and Luigi come to life as their new voice actor.
3.) This was the first 2-D Mario platformer where all of the characters were animated and really came to life. They had different facial expressions when they were pushing objects out of the way or when they were running.
Below is an audio clip of the overworld theme from Super Mario Bros. Wonder. It was composed by Koji Kondo, Shiho Fujii, Sayako Doi, and Chisaki Shimazu. I really like this audio because it gives me a feeling of excitement starting a great, brand new adventure.
