Montauk, Long Island is the perfect place to sum up the entire Long Island experience. If you have to go to one place, Montauk is it! Montauk is known for its beaches, and that’s the first thing you should do. After that, here’s some awesome options!

1. Montauk Light House: 

this one speaks for itself. Often the symbol of Long Island, the Montauk lighthouse was founded in 1792 on the eastern tip of Long Island. Go see it for yourself with a beautiful view!

2. Harvest on Fort Pond 

I saved the best restaurant for last. This place makes the whole trip.  Harvest on Fort Pond is the best food, and service on Long Island. period. Family sized dishes with a beautiful view is the best way to end your day at the beach. There is not reservations, so you better get there when it opens at 5 pm. Seriously.  There will be people lining up when you get there.

3. John’s drive-in 

Montauk will leave you wanting to eat all day, but if there’s only one other spot you can go to besides Harvest you gotta go to John’s. quite different than Harvest, John’s is your spot for fast food burgers, fries, and delicious ice cream. A vintage look makes you feel like you’re getting the full experience.A good lunch before Harvest.
