Ingredients:
- 1 cup of butter
- 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 cups of granulated sugar
- 4 whole large eggs
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 Fahrenheit. Line a 9 inch baking pan with parchment paper or grease and flour well.
- In microwave safe mixing bowl melt together the butter and chocolate chips at 30 seconds intervals, stirring each time until it is melted and smooth.
- Add sugar and stir until well combined.
- Add in the eggs and vanilla extract and whisk until the eggs are fully incorporated and it is well blended.
- Add flour, cocoa powder, and salt and mix until just combined.
- Pour into a prepared 9 inch square baking dish and sprinkle chocolate chunks over the top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until the brownies are set and a tester comes out mostly clean.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool completely before slicing to serve.
