Your Bait
Unlike your typical fishing trip where you get a styrofoam cup of worms, in fly fishing your bait is something called a fly, hint the name.
These dry fly bait are very effective in catching trout. It’s lightweight and aerodynamic structure allows for easy and accurate cast while its color and pattern attracts the fish once placed in the water, usually upstream. Unless you are an expert who does this as a profession, I would not invest too much in a fly, especially in the start. My go to favorites that works for anyone are provided below.
