The Blue Banana
The Blue Banana boasts an exquisite panorama, with the lagoon in the foreground and the island of Moorea in the background. The sea breeze will softly cool you off, while your thoughts get lost in the beautiful landscape. The terrace appears to float on the water. The voyage, however, is entirely at the table, with a menu that ranges from French Polynesian to classic French, with a side trip through Italy via a genuine pizza oven set up on the terrace, the “Blue Banana” pizza naturally being the house special.
Te Tiare
This is the main restaurant it the InterContinental Tahiti Resort and Spa. There is nowhere more idyllic to appreciate authentic Tahitian-style cuisine than at this restaurant, overlooking the resort’s infinity pools and waterfalls. In the distance, gaze at Moorea’s stunning silhouette while chefs prepare gastronomic treats from the open kitchen, centrally located in the resort. Their extensive offerings range from light snacks and salads to freshly caught fish and top cuts of meat imported from New Zealand. Dinner comprises carefully prepared local Polynesian specialties and is served until 9:30 p.m. Each Wednesday and Friday night, Te Tiare hosts dinner shows on its stage.
