7: Shaquille O’Neal

Background Information

Shaquille O’Neal also known as Shaq is known as the most dominant center to ever play in the NBA. Being 7 feet tall and 324 pounds gave him insane strenth so he was able to score right at the rim with ease. He has even pulled down the basketball hoop a few times in his career. Even though Shaq was a horrific shooter anywhere more than a few feet away from the hoop, that did not stop him from becoming an all time great. His nickname is “Superman” because he was always the strongest player on the court. It was like he had superstrenth.

Shaq was drafted to the Orlando Magic ini 1992.  Then from 1996 to 2004 he played for the Los Angeles Lakers. Later on, from 2004 to 2008, Shaq played for the Miami Heat and then he got traded to the Phoenix Suns. After the 2009 season, Shaq played for the Clevland Cavilers. Finialy, in 2010, the last year of his career,  he played for the Celtics.

Accolades

Throuhgout his career, Shaq has won 2 scoring titles and 1 MVP. He also was a 15 time all star and won the all star game MVP 3 times.  Along with that, Shaq is a 4 time NBA Champion. He won finals MVP for 3 of them. Shaq was also named an all NBA player 14 times. He averaged 23.7 points, 10.9 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game throughout his career. Shaq had an amazing career and is widley  recognized as the most dominant NBA player ever.
