1: Lebron James
Background Information
Lebron James is known as the “GOAT” (greatest player of all time). A bunch of NBA fans think Lebron is the “GOAT” while others think it is Michael Jordan. In terms of greatness, talent, skill, dominance, and athleticism they are very close. However, in my opinion, Lebron is the greater player. Lebron is refered to as “King James” because he has been the face of the NBA ever since he was drafted in 2003. Lebron was drafted at the age of 18 by his home town Cleveland Cavaliers. It was the perfect situation because he was the best high school player ever and got drafted to his home town team. In 2010, Lebron James signed with the Miami Heat. Then, in 2015, he rejoined the Cleveland Cavaliers for 4 years. Lebron has been playing for the Los Angeles Lakers since 2019.
Accolades
Lebron James is a 4 time MVP, Champion, and finals MVP winner. He has also been named an all star 17 times and has been on an all NBA team 16 times. Throughout Lebron’s career he averaged 30.5 points, 7.4 rebounds and 7.4 assists a game. He is the only player on this list who is still an active player in the NBA. Lebron is 36 years old and still the best player in the NBA. His dominance, basketball IQ, athleticism, longevity, skill, and talent has helped shape him into the greatest NBA player of all time.
