Background Information

Michael Jordan is known as either the greatest or second greatest player of all time. In my opinion, he is the second greatest right below Lebron James. Michael Jordan’s nickname was “Air Jordan” because he could jump very high when he dunked. He was drafted to the Chicago Bulls in the 1984 draft with the 3rd overall pick. The last 2 years of Jordan’s career he signed with the Washington Wizards.

Accolades

Michael Jordan was a 6 time NBA Champion. He won 3 back to back championships, retired for 2 years to play baseball, and then won 3 more NBA championships. Jordan also won finals MVP for all 6 of those Championships. In addition, he was a 5 time MVP and 14 time all star. Jordan also was a 10 time all NBA and a 9 time all defensive player. He was a 1 time defensive player of the year. Jordan’s career stats were 30.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 5.3 assists a game.  Michael Jordan’s athleticism and skill helped him become the second greatest player the NBA has ever seen.
