Mumbai
Mumbai is a blend of stunningly modern high buildings, distinctive old-world charm architecture, cultural and traditional structures, and other things. Although the city is referred to as India’s business capital, there is more to it than that. Mumbai is a city rich in history, culture, cuisine, theater, movies, nightlife, and many other things.
Well-known Mumbai building is the Taj Mahal Hotel, which is directly across from the Gateway. The Taj Mahal Palace and Tower is a more than 100-year-old structure with stunning crimson domes and curved towers that was built by Sir J N Tata. A visit to Mumbai wouldn’t be complete without seeing this classy hotel.
Thousands of people pass through this crowded train station, which was originally known as Victoria Terminus. Take a Mumbai train (another must-do experience) to CST if you enjoy architecture and history. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and features beautiful carvings, stained glass, and gothic architecture.
