Sidhu Moosewala (Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu) was a Punjabi singer, rapper, and actor. His music and work were with the Punjabi language music and cinema. Throughout his career, he dealt with his fair share of negativity and hate, but the love from his fans helped him to continue rising. His main catchphrase was, “Dil da ni mada,” which translates from Punjabi to English as “Not bad at heart.”

Sadly, he passed away in May 2022 after he was attacked by unidentified gun men.

He was and still remains the most popular, influential, and successful Punjabi artist of all time. His unique style, strong lyrics, and energetic performances are what launched him up the charts. His work was not only popular in Punjab, India but he also built a strong following abroad in countries such as Canada, America, UK, and Australia. His songs easily accumulate millions of views and even more streams which continue to solidify his large influence even after he has passed away.
