Ocean City, MD is famous for their 3 mile long boardwalk! At the beginning of the boardwalk, by the inlet, there are many rides and attractions (like rollercoasters, the ferris wheel, the slingshot, mirror maze, and more!) and games (pop the balloon, water squirting, etc.). This part of the boardwalk stays open late at night and the ferris wheel lights up in different colors after the sun sets.
The boardwalk is a little quieter at the other end (around 27th street) which mainly features ocean-front homes and hotels. In the spring season (February – May) bike rentals are allowed on the boardwalk and you can see many visitors riding banana bikes, surrey bikes, regular bicycles, and more!

Right along the boardwalk is the Ocean City beach, which stretches 10 miles long. Pets are allowed on the beach in the spring season before the bulk of visitors come. During the summer season, beach umbrellas and chairs are available for rental. Don’t forget your hats, sunscreen, and sunglasses!
