My top 10 favorite restaurants in OC, MD are:
- Longboard Café: They have a fantastic grilled caesar salad and prickly pear margarita. The space is smaller, so a reservation is definitely recommended.
- Fager’s Island: They have a “fine dining” side that is amazing for fancier dinners/celebrations (requires a reservation) and they have a more casual dining side as well. My favorite food here is the large sushi roll appetizer (featured in the top image in front of my boyfriend) and the creme brulee.
- Bayside Skillet: This is a fantastic brunch restaurant with crepes and fresh squeezed orange juice. They also have extensive gluten free options, but reservations are not available.
- Barn 34: This restaurant offers brunch and dinner, but their brunch is fantastic. They always have different variations of french toast, all of which are amazing. However, they don’t allow reservations and it is usually pretty popular, so be prepared to wait!
- Tailchasers: This restaurant is amazing for outdoor dining. It sits right along the water and allows pets to accompany guests at certain points during the year.
- OC Street Food: If you’re looking for a takeout restaurant, this is it. It has a fantastic chicken gyro, and you can order online!
- Layton’s: This is an amazing diner-style breakfast/brunch place that is famous for their hand-made donuts.
- Dead Freddies Island Grill: If you’re looking for a family friendly restaurant, I would definitely recommend this one. The crab dip and seafood pasta are fantastic!
- Bad Monkey: This restaurant usually doesn’t have too long of a wait time and has a large menu. They have many amazing appetizers, including variations of their shoe-string fries!
- OC Wasabi: Looking for sushi and fried rice? This is definitely the place. But again, small place and pretty popular, so you’ll need a reservation.
