Shoes:

A lot of runners recommend brands like Brooks, Hoka, Saucony, Asics, and New Balance– you want supportive shoes to absorb the impact of your foot hitting the ground so often. You can visit your local running store to get your foot evaluated, as individual people have different needs in a running shoe.
Pants:
Depending on the weather, you’re going to want to wear either running tights or shorts.
Most runners advise against baggy shorts or sweatpants which might disrupt your natural range of motion.
Shirt:
Depending on the weather, you’re going to want to wear either a long sleeve shirt or short sleeve/ tank top.
Most runners recommend against wearing cotton on runs, which can cause one to feel sticky and sweaty. Runners often recommend performance material shirts. Brands like under armor, nike, and others are good options of these shirts.
