Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 2 sticks unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cups lightly packed, light brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

 

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Line Baking sheets with parchment paper.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.
  4. In another bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar until creamy, or for about 2 minutes.
  5. To that same bowl, add vanilla extract and eggs.
  6. Now, gradually beat the dry flour mixture into the wet mixture and add the semisweet chocolate chips.
  7. Divide the dough into 3-tablespoon sized balls using a cookie scoop.  Place dough onto baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 11-13 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Cool for 5 minutes before eating.
