One of the smartest dog breeds in the world is the poodle. Poodles are extremely trainable and suitable for almost any task, but they must have the right owner to train them correctly. They like to stay busy, if they aren’t kept active and challenged intellectually, “bored” Poodles might become destructive. They do best with active owners. Poodles are also very instinctual and alert dogs, they’re very quick with responses and aware of their surroundings. Poodles can range in size from toy to standard, they can be purebred or mixed with another dog breeds which is very common. When it comes to the appearance of a poodle they typically appear lanky and have long muzzles with drooping ears. They walk with a bouncy, animated pace. Poodles are certainly a family friend dog breed and they’re great to have around with kids growing up. People who are allergic to dogs tend to not be allergic to poodles due to their fur. They are known to have hypoallergenic fur properties. Poodles are known as “non-shedding” dogs, they have a light and fluffy undercoat which makes them less likely to shed.
