Welcome to my hometown of Montreal!!
I will be giving you some insight on this beautiful city located in Quebec, Canada. Montreal is the second largest city right behind Toronto. The language spoken in Montreal is french, however there is some english speaking communities. People always wonder what there is to do there every time I tell them I am from Montreal. My answer always is plenty of things! Montreal has the best nightlife out of all the 10 provinces in Canada. They have astonishing food and many food festivals during the summer such as the Rib Fest and the Poutine Fest. Montreal also held the 1976 summer olympics where a very successful gymnast Nadia Comaneci received a perfect ten. The first gymnast to every do it in the gymnastics world. You can never doubt the passionate fans of the Montreal sports clubs. The Montreal Canadians are our very famous hockey team, they sell out every game and people always say that hockey is Canadas sport. There is also the CF Montreal which is our soccer team that plays in the major league soccer. People take pride in this city and everyone falls in love with it.
