Carroll Creek Park runs through the heart of Downtown Frederick and is over a mile long. This was constructed after horrible floods in the mid-1970s as a way to control the creek and stop it from flooding over. Along this walk beside the creek, there are many businesses, including specialty shops, restaurants, breweries, and a distillery. This is also a popular spot for festivals and smaller concerts.
