At the center of Downtown Frederick is Baker Park. This beautiful stretch of 58 acres contains playgrounds, a lake, jogging paths, and biking paths. Standing tall amongst the park is the Joseph D. Baker Bell Tower, an antique bell tower originally built in 1941.
Baker Park is often the location of many festivals and concerts. One of the biggest events held here is Frederick’s Fourth, which is the City of Frederick’s annual celebration of the Fourth of July. There are also five different ball fields and a pet-friendly atmosphere in Baker Park.
