Every season the MLB gives out 11 major awards, 5 per conference. These awards are AL and NL MVP, AL and NL Cy Young, AL and NL Rookie of the Year, AL and NL Manager of the Year, AL and NL Reliever of the Year, and World Series MVP. The two most prestigious awards in the MLB are the AL and NL MVP. The AL MVP was awarded to Shohei Ohtani, and the NL MVP was given to Ronald Acuna Jr. The next awards are the AL and NL Cy Young awards. Gerrit Cole received the AL Cy Young, while the NL Cy Young went to Blake Snell. Next is the AL Rookie of the Year and NL Rookie of the Year. Gunnar Henderson was awarded the AL Rookie of the Year and Corbin Carroll won NL Rookie of the Year. Relievers of the year were announced next. The AL Reliever of the Year was awarded to Felix Bautista, while Devin Williams won NL Reliever of the Year. Unrelated to AL and NL MVP, there is the World Series MVP. Corey Seager was awarded the World Series MVP after the Texas Rangers won the World Series. However, not only the players receive an award. The AL and NL Manager of the Year is awarded to the two best managers of the year. The AL Manager of the Year was won by Brandon Hyde, while the NL Manager of the Year went to Skip Schumaker.
