Mirian Luna is an immigrant and the first to go to college in her family. She is 20-years-old and is a barista at Mount Vernon Fresh Mondays, located in Baltimore, Maryland; she has been working here since she was 16 and has learned so much. Towson University student Riley Rumbley’s life was pretty crazy pre-covid, training one to two times a day for soccer, training for another semi-pro team she plays for, and focusing on school. Then what she thought would be a two-week spring break turned into something that would change her life.
