The Humane Society of Puerto Rico estimates there to be about half a million stray dogs and a million stray cats on just the Island of Puerto Rico. The big contributor to this issue is owners not fixing their pets and letting them roam free. We are partnered with many individual rescuers and other rescues in Puerto Rico.
We also recently partnered with the Human society in The British Virgin Islands.
