All Blacks

The All Blacks are the national rugby team of New Zealand and the most successful men’s rugby team in the world. They have won the Rugby World Cup three times in the years 1987, 2011, and 2015. The All Blacks have a winning percentage of 77.41% from over 580 test matches between 1903 and 2019. They are the first rugby team in the world to win 500 test matches, they have won the Bledisloe Cup every year since 2003, and have won 10/16 Tri-Nation’s trophies. The All Blacks are widely known around the world for the Haka named ‘Ka Mate’ which they perform before every international test match. The Haka is a traditional Maori dance that represents community, strength, and pride. They are significant to New Zealand as Rugby is the national sport of New Zealand, making them a large part of the countries culture and identity. Rugby is a way of life in New Zealand that you are bound to experience in one way or another if visiting.  The All Blacks are a national symbol to New Zealand that kiwis look up to and idolize.
