Hop in a natural hot spring in Rotorua: Rotorua is famous for its geothermal activity with numerous natural hot springs that you can bathe in for free!

Go to Hobbiton: The Hobbiton movie set is located in Matamata, New Zealand where the film, The Hobbit directed by New Zealand director Peter Jackson was filmed. Experience middle earth while being toured around the rabbit holes, the Mill, the Green Dragon Inn, and the beautiful landscapes surrounding it.

Visit one of New Zealand’s beaches: One of the best things about New Zealand is that there are beautiful beaches all around the country that you are never too far away from. Some of them include Cathedral Cove, Mount Maunganui, Able Tasman National Park, Maitai Bay, and Ninety Mile Beach.

Visit a vineyard: There are 2023 vineyards in New Zealand that produce some of the best wine in the world including its most famous Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc and Central Otago Pinot Noir.  Not only does the wine taste good, but the New Zealand vineyards are some of the most beautiful places with breathtaking scenery.

Visit the countries capital: There is plenty to do in Wellington including, walking around the waterfront, visiting the museum of New Zealand (Te Papa), riding the cable car, going up to the Mount Victoria lookout, enjoying some of the best food and coffee in the country,  and walking in the Botanical Gardens.
